Improvement of the thermal insulation of secondary education institutions in the Alt Empordà area (Girona, Spain)

In order to maintain the visual aesthetics of the buildings the developer is installing internal ventilated facades.

The material used is high pressure decorative laminated wood from the COMPATEC brand. This laminate is available in sizes from 2 to 20 mm. It is available with two decorative surfaces. It’s the most fitting material for interior styling and décor, and meets all European legal requirements for HPL laminate, in accordance with the EN 438 norm.

It’s lack of porosity and it’s huge resistance to chemical attacks united to its non toxic and chemically inert surface, allow its daily use, specially in places were a huge resistance to humidity, vapour and denting is required. It is especially suitable for installations that require optimal hygienic conditions such as hospitals, schools, sport centres, etc.
